Big Night Soundtrack
This CD is to Italian food what the Austin Powers soundtrack is to groovy. Before our living room gets turned into the velvet draped swinging lounge of love on Friday and Saturday nights, we have dinner, of course. The house smells of the aromas of fresh garlic, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, shallots and rosemary. A bottle of Chianti is opened and poured. The guest help out by cutting the tips of the artichokes, rinsing the romaine lettuce, and setting out a plate of olives and cheese next to the oven fresh loaf of bread. The girls get a little crazy in the kitchen, the boys gulp down their vino and laugh it up, the speakers sing "Hey Mambo! Mambo Italiano..." Who could ask for a better night?
